The Bronx Wanderers

The Bronx Wanderers are a high-energy musical “tour-de-force” that have been entertaining audiences of all ages since 2003. The band, comprised of a father, his sons and two of their long-time friends, prides itself on being one of the only shows able to entertain audiences of all ages. Spanning across six decades of pop and rock classics like “Don’t Worry Baby,” “Runaround Sue,” and “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and featuring personal stories about music industry legends like Tony Orlando, Wayne Newton, Billy Joel, and more, this show is fun for the whole family!

Lauren Jelencovich: In Concert!

Lauren Jelencovich and her sparkling soprano voice impart her love and passion for all genres of music to thrill and entertain audiences of all ages. Having made her Off-Broadway debut in the world premiere of The Music Teacher and received critical acclaim for countless other roles that she has played, Jelencovich has also performed alongside music industry superstars like Renee Fleming, and is the Grand Prize Winner of Ed McMahon’s Star Search and Andrea Bocelli’s World Scholarship. Her program features a diverse repertoire of familiar songs, like “The Prayer,” “O Mio Babbino Caro,” “Over the Rainbow,” and so many more!

Encore Creativity

Sunday, December 7, 2025 – 3:00 PM

Encore Chorale for older adults with over 50 singers will present their Holiday Concert including both novel and traditional songs of the season and an audience participation segment to lift your spirit to the most wonderful time of the year.  ENCORE has performed concerts at prestigious locations such as the Kennedy Center, Strathmore Hall, and DAR Constitution Hall.

The Next Generation Leahy

Monday, March 9, 2026 – 7:30 PM

VENUE: Southern High School, 4400 Solomons Island Road, Harwood, MD 20766

As with all forces of nature, the music and energy created by The Next Generation Leahy simply cannot be contained; the drive to create music is powerful within each of the Leahy children. Belying their young ages, these siblings are all accomplished multi-instrumentalists whose live performances are filled with high-energy, mesmerizing music that goes hand-in-hand with the famous Leahy name. Featuring fiddle, cello, French accordion, vocals, piano, guitar, bass, and, of course, the iconic Leahy-style French-Canadian step-dancing, this group lights up every stage they perform on, and inspire future generations of performers to pursue their dreams!

GQ Gentlemen’s Quartet

Wednesday, April 29, 2026 – 7:30 PM

GQ (Gentlemen’s Quartet) is a modern, elegant take on some of the most famous music ever written, fusing together multiple genres in a perfect symphony of sophistication, virtuosity, and humor. Comprised of cello/mandocello, guitar, bass, percussion, piano and violin, with special appearances by female vocalist Erin Shields, their concerts offer audiences a new, often deeper, way of listening to music. Featuring a multitude of musical genres, their repertoire includes selections like “Adagio,” “New York ‘States’ of Mind,” “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Rhapsody Overload,” and much more!

Concerts are held at Southern High School and there is always the chance that schools may be closed for inclement weather or other emergencies. It is suggested that before attending a concert you check www.aacps.org to make sure that schools have not been closed.

Each of our artists is carefully chosen to provide the highest quality entertainment available to the South County Community. The artists we choose have appeared at Carnegie Hall, on Broadway, at major sporting events and have won prestigious awards worldwide.
